There's not a lot to do in the sticks of Binghamton, NY – hike through the wilderness, hang out in people’s houses, or hopefully find a hobby that can save you from the depths of suburban boredom. So that’s just what DJ Jason Smith did.

Always a music lover, Jason decided to bring his passion to the tables and start a career.Drawing on everything from classic rock to classic hip-hop, he honed his skills on the tables. Having since moved to Queens, it’s not rare to see Jason pay tribute to his tree-hugging days with a little Grateful Dead mixed with the grimey sounds of the New York streets. Whatever your flavor, Jason’s got it in his arsenal – and crowds from New York City to Las Vegas are packing dance floors to witness his turntable wizardry.

Smith’s diverse musical stylings have allowed him to get his hands moving for every type of crowd out there.His mix of classic rock favorites set to a different beat hyped the crowd for the 2007 Rascal Flatts national tour. He’s a regular companion of Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes and Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy in the DJ booth, and frequently travels with Fatman Scoop around the country.

With residencies in some of the hottest New York area clubs – Providence at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, Shrine at MGM Grand Foxwoods, Underbar at the W Hotel and the Eldridge- Jason also frequently flies around the country for one-off dates at clubs like Enclave in Chicago, and Axis/Radius in Arizona.With an up-and-coming presence on the West Coast scene, Jason Smith promises to become one of the nation’s hottest DJs.
